Pokémon GO. I will only mention this once unless something big has happened. So far it's an alright game with a steep learning curve in which you catch Pokémon in the real world. A unique concept that made neck beards and nerds alike step outdoors. Personally I've had a ball but now I'm slowing down a bit as it's come to the realisation that this game has many flaws. It's not casual friendly. Your pokémon is rated by CP and the higher level you are the higher CP pokémon you get which means that those who grind the fuck out of the game (in which there is no short supply of) will always be at the advantage. Once you slow down or stop you've fallen behind.
Unlike other games that give you opportunities to catch up or don't so much punish the slower people, this game will make it near impossible to become a gym leader if you slow down.
It's a grind I've come to realise is not all that worth the significant time investment and shitload of battery power. So in conclusion to all this I'll only play very sparingly from now on and just hope my news feed can return to normal soon.
Now that's off my chest, recent events have been birthday celebrations involving outtings and parties which have been exceptionally fun. My father leaves for the overseas tomorrow and my BBQ 6 days away. Going to be an interesting week film wise as I just got my recording hardware which will enable me to do some pretty hectic machinimas if I can get enough motivation to do so. Also speaking of film I'll be an extra in a short film. My back will be towards the camera because high schoolers don't have beards apparently (They obviously didn't see me in grade 12). Thinking I might make this a common occurance by creating a starnow account to be a part time extra!
