This morning I woke up to realise my brother was still asleep so I woke him up and he said it was a public holiday. In my head i was like bullshit but later found out it was a student free day (big difference bloody hell).
Tafe was very boring mainly because I didn't have my harddrive so I just sat around on youtube all day.
Chilled with Mr Spa guy and Siren for a bit then left Mr Spa guy as we were going to buy him his birthday present. Afterwards we had sushi, talked about life then parted ways. Safe to say... things are steadily moving forward with people and events. Tomorrow will be tafe, Mr Spa guys birthday, Mr 2.0 and Cuddles visiting and perhaps a small gathering at Sirens that night and yeah that's about it.
Now to talk about gifts. A lot of my friends and I have a "You don't have to buy me a gift and I don't have to buy you one, your presense is all that is required". However in the event I receive gifts I find that I have to perform a show to convey my (it is sincere, no sarcasm) appreciation of the gift. It's love and effort put into these presents that makes it worthwhile. I look at gifts as more for the gift giver than the receiver. Seeing them happy that I'm happy is a wonderful experience. I wish I didn't have to slightly exaggerate my appreciation of it to convey my feelings (I worry to myself as I'm worried that they'd get worried). I suppose it's all necessary. As for gift giving, if I receive a gift you're damn well getting one back. I feel kind of bad because Sonzilla gave me a bottle of scotch and I am yet to return the favour but I will... when I get some spare money :/
