Yesterday we went on the train to all these different places. Managed to reach the boat terminal but got shooed away onto a random boat despite our constant inquiries to its destination. So we got off on some random pier which was pretty close to our destination... But the wrong side of the river. After a wild bloody goose chase and nearly being scammed we finally got to where we wanted to go. It was an old temple with a nice view at the top. The only way up? Steep stairs... View was worth it though!
Afterwards we took the skytrain to this huge shopping thing. Huge... But all i walked out with was 6 shot glasses and another Rastafarian hat. My mum took aggesss... My legs were aching like crazy!
Today we made our way back but went to a military display where you could handle Anti Air machine guns, Artillery and even go into Helicopters or ride around in humvies and APCs. They had motorbike tricks going down as well as soldiers going in with M16s firing blanks whilst showing us their drill tactics and firing positions!! SO FREAKEN AWEEESOMME and incredibly different to Australian tactics... I now have the best of both worlds :P
Got home, chilled around (learnt to my dismay two games aren't working) then went to some party. I pretty much sat around eating chips and sinking in how 3 years can really really make a person look... Mmmmm
Tomorrows plan is a much needed sleep in then lounging around watching movies. Then to the south for a week! Not sure what happens for the remaining week... Considering going back early but i need my parents around so I can buy more alcohol (only allowed a certain limit per person through customs or you get taxed shittonnes)
Stay classy.
