I'm in one of those moods where I've been dying to write but can never get the opportunity until late.
Where I left off from yesterday I did in fact make it to that party (with a noble gentleman taking my shift at work). It was one of those temped parties where there was drinking but not necessarily much drunkeness, more like tipsy. I didn't really drink, I just overdosed on lemonade. The embarrassing stories were also brought out and people showed their light sides so it was fun overall.
I ended up leaving at 2am and staying over someone elses place. We asked some pretty hard questions to each other to get ourselves to sleep. He even woke me up to stop me snoring... I really need to get that fixed.
Woke up and painfully went home in the blinding light of day to get ready for a film shoot! I attempted to shave but kept the goatee as I was rather peeved that again... no batteries. Got into my best shirt and made my way to the north side. Met up with my friends and their beloved parent of choice before signing on for the film shoot to be an extra (people in the background that pretend they care about the events unfolding). However due to my age (I will refrain from ranting about that for now) I needed my friends dad to sign so for a day I had a different dad and two sisters!
Sat around for about 2 hours which gave us time to get to know each other and brainstorm ideas for an assignment that was due this week.
Eventually we finally got up and played our roles. I met a guy named Tychee (That's at least how you pronounce it) and the funniest thing happened, back a few posts ago I mentioned watching a formal video. I would always point out this awesome looking asian guy and fate decided to allow me to meet him....
Fate. You're drunk, go home but thanks anyway.
It was interesting hearing another perspective of what that school was like. He reminded me of me when I was in school just going around to different groups, following the wind.
Back to the filming, I recognised the groom (yes a wedding scene kind of thing... looked like a comedy) from a short film I saw at Griffith University. Small world indeed.
The equipment was insane though! My sister for the day couldn't keep it together!
After a hard day of work it was off to the bus stop where I ran into two of the actors. Very enlightening stuff they said, I think Starnow is going to be on my priority list when needing a large crew of talented people.
On the bus I ran into the 24 year old chef tafe buddy oh pal. We chatted away about the land of the virtual world.
Got home, watched Avatar, went to work. Work was ok. It's hard to get a drink of water though...
Now I'm home doing this assignment with the house to myself.
Also this is the FOUR HUNDREDTH POST ON THIS BLOG. *cue confetti*
