Another day of work. Nothing new.
*NOTE: All information below was not gathered from professional sources)*
Today was election day however. People would always ask "Who do I vote for?", I understand why they ask that because they have no care for politicians these days... at least for now.
So I would always respond with what their base foundations were (or are... but it's politicians, how the fuck are we supposed to know anymore).
If you want education and equality go Labor
If you want business and restrictions go Liberal
If you want environment and immigration go Greens
If you want to support the little guy, go for any other party that will not likely make it into anything.
So far despite majority of my friends going Labor it seems the Liberals are winning. In the brief time I've been watching tv the media seemed to glamorise Labor. Guess I haven't been watching tv much. I'm ok with this except there is apparently speculation that the Liberals are going to do an internet censorship. Yes that's right, no more porn. I suggest saving the videos and photos to a secure location if that's your preference and to those that think it won't happen... it happened in Britain, it can happen here. My personal thoughts on the matter? Well I always thought of porn to be the teenagers supplement to keep themselves sane through puberty or a supplement for anyone else going through sexual frustration. However on the flip side it degrades their view of people and makes them want to invoke less effort to achieve sexual attention.
Another thing about the Liberals winning is that Gay Marriage looks to no longer be a thing any more... though I've always wondered why they pursue it so much? Gays are entitled to what's known as a "Civil Union" where they are essentially entitled everything a married couple besides being called "married". Being married is technically under a religious setting so I've always wondered as to whether it was gays fighting to belong in their religion or to have the title of "married"? So confusing but as supportive as I am I think I'll stay on the fence on this fight.
So that is my opinion on the matter, oh yeah and I didn't vote either (17, this is why I like you).
Tomorrows plan involve a good breakfast then a tonne of tafe work.
EDIT: OH YEAH. GOODBYE MY DREAMS OF FASTER INTERNET!!!!!!
